Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial projections and monitor variances.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections, to ensure timely and accurate payment transactions.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records to identify discrepancies or irregularities and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis activities, such as cost analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
