Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements, project scope, and pricing parameters for preparing quotes.
  • Review customer requests for quotes (RFQs) and analyze specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely quotes to customers, including pricing, terms, and conditions, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and procurement teams, to obtain necessary information and ensure alignment on pricing and delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable conditions for quotes.
  • Maintain and update quote records, pricing databases, and documentation to track quotes, monitor status, and analyze quote activity and outcomes.
  • Provide support to sales teams and customers by answering inquiries, providing clarification on quotes, and addressing concerns or objections.
  • Analyze quote win/loss data, trends, and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize quote preparation processes and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or pricing management are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a sales support, quotation management, or similar role, with a strong understanding of sales processes and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to analyze pricing data, calculate margins, and prepare accurate quotes.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quotation management software or CRM systems.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
